No, Sir. Those are Alloy Steel, Black Oxided. Heat Treated, Turned, Bored, Wire EDM'd, & Hobbed.

Thank you, Sir. I was just thrilled to finally be able to steal away enough time from customer work to be able to finish and release our Twin Gear Sets for SouthBend 9's and 10K's. Was a VERY long week.

Helped goodwife do the massive pre-festival cleanup. Just the two of us live in a fairly large house--it doesn't get dirty that much. However, about 4 or 5 times a year we do a major vacuum, wipe, and mop exercise just before all children and grandchildren arrive for Christmas or Easter, or thanksgiving, or a joint birthday party for our two grown sons who both managed to get born in December.. I'm setting here in a sweat, waiting to cool down so I can do the upper floor vacuuming.

Ah, the wire EDM. I should know better having been caught out on exactly the same question with one of Mr Fluffy's pieces. I was wondering how they looked so far from terrible if they were printed!

There's only one sure way to find it....spend hours making one! Bound to turn up shortly after....mine did!

Of course it will. When you find it you stop looking.

Would an OC person keep looking just so they didn't miss a spot?

If you think you're having trouble finding things now, wait till after you clean up and organize things!
Places you've known things to be for decades won't be there anymore and neither will the item.

Organizing everything is a great way to find the things you forgot about and forget where you put and lose new things.

I'd like to, but then My wife would have more evidence. Some of you know what I mean.... as long as I'm on a roll, why not continue and see what else I can find!!!
I cut it off twice; it's still too short

I used to buy the odd cheap little thing that I could find at Princess Auto in their surplus dept (when it actually had a lot of interesting things) and just hang the bag up on a hook or stash it someplace on a shelf. Invariably much later on I would find these forgotten little "Easter eggs" when looking for something else and experience a cheap thrill. Yeah, I know, I live a dull life!
