  • Pratt & Whitney Model C M-1801

I'm looking for a slide rest/compound and tailstock for a 7 X 16 P & W Precision Bench Lathe (circa 1940's). This lathe uses 4PN collets and the smallest of the D1 camlock spindle noses; D1-2. I'm looking for any D1-2 chucks, faceplates, etc and any parts or accessories for this lathe. Also looking for drawings/specifications for the D1-2 so I can make my own if I don't locate any. Please PM or post if you have anything and thanks!

I have a complete machine with a Speedmaster variable drive and butcher block top. A complete collet set, tailstock, 3&4 jaw chucks, faceplate, and tooling post etc. I am the Boston area. It is available as of today 4/29/2010.
It is a 10x20 #M-1689. Looks like 40s era. Someone painted it green with a brush and has some surface rust. Runs good. Needs a new home. Ready for some restoration work! Have a phase converter for it too. Email = cncmill at comcast dot net.
