    Mom wanted to make some round holes of various sizes in leather hard clay.
    I tried a hole saw for the largest but it was slow. This dull rusty twist drill cut it like butter!

    For little holes, take a small twist drill and wrap tape around the shank. It's easier to turn if there is a larger diameter. Also little pieces of old hacksaw blade make great texture tools.
