    LeBlond-$1200

My hands and my shop are pretty full right now so we need a volunteer to rescue this fine Ol' Gal of a LeBlond from the scrape heap. They say ALL the parts are there and all it needs is a little cleaning up

Before you click the link - think "Big Gals need Lovin Too"

Too big & too far for me. However, it sure brings back memories of LeBonds I ran on board ship.

I was going to go get it, then realized they left the key in the chuck. I just can't possibly buy it now.
Kind of like the 5-second rule for french fries. Leave that key in the chuck too long and it's wrecked. Not my rules. Look it up man. It's the law.

Besides, Sacramento is a little too far away.

I just thought of something. I used U Pack It when I moved from NE to KY as it was even cheaper than renting a U Haul or Ryder truck before calculating in the fuel. Have them drop a trailer and winch the lathe into the trailer as they charge by volume, not by weight.

There IS NO 5 second rule. If it hits the floor, don't eat it.

If I didn't have a Leblond that is in the process of a tune up and a 8,000 pound Axelson that could use some tlc I might be interested.

Oh Oh I know let's go halvesies and part it out, We'll make a fortune .

Love that toolpost. Just like the ones on our 8 Clausing/Metosa's at
school . I made a "minature" copy of it for a South Bend for the
teacher. Have to post the pix sometime.
