Sheep farmers don't taste good grilled. You have to smoke them for 10 hours to get them tender enough to eat!

How many 50# bags of charcoal? Our school had a grill, made out of a fuel oil tank, took six bags and two hours to get things rolling enough to cook burgers......

    But MAN was it great!!!!!

100 might be a squeeze as to sleeping accommodations. But 50 would be OK.

I haven't finished the smoker yet. I spent so much time talking about building my smoker that the wife went out and bought a small patio style smoker to shut me up. After I smoked the first meat for her. She told me to get myself back to the shop and finish the big smoker. She's addicted!

But the smoker will be a vertical smoker. I have built about twenty smokers in my life, but never a vertical. Some smokers were big enough to require tandem axles!

Sorry Forest, but here's that pesky kid again! This pesky kid loves to be in the shop with me and help. She loves tools and Barbie's!

Cool grill, looking good, thanks for sharing. Its funny how a deadline will bring motivation to finish a project.

Yes a 2 speed stainless rack conveyor with a drop so it flips the burgers midway with a varible speed, make it wide for a bun toaster and a cheese extruder to the side and a set of cam driven arms to flip bacon on the burger after the cheese hits it.

The jack is made up of three different jacks. There are no plastic parts.

The jacks were rated for 1500 kilo's. So the weight of the grill plus meat will be no problem. The grill can swing all the way around. when it is at 180° it does not come close to tipping the grill. The kettle part of the grill came off a propane tank that I am building a smoker out of. Big smoker!

The whole unit will be sandblasted on Friday. NO worries about the paint and rust.

You all are invited for a grill party. I will supply the food and drinks and a place to sleep. You just need to get here to the Black Forest. Lets say the Fourth of July! I hope to then have my sheep shearing machine in service. You all can then help me to refine some of the rough spots and have a go at shearing a sheep!

Forest, My daughter is not a pesky kid....she is an angel, but you can come to the party and find out for yourself.
