  • Anyone know about this model Bridgeport?

Looks interesting because it runs on 115V and has a small table. Not sure of the model number. Any tips appreciated

No, but the head looks identical to the Bridgeport head on my Fray #7. Reading the add the poster refers to the vice as a "clamp". There's also a small SB lathe in the background. Wonder if someone is selling off an estate?

        Old BP

The spindle taper on the M heads only allows up to 1/2 inch shanks unless you can find a rare R8 one. They had various spindle tapers over time.

Thanks for the replies. I think I would prefer an R-8 machine.

Is a round overarm M head machine of about 1940 to 1950 vintage
The motor is not original and is a retrofit.
M Head machines came in 3 styles of tapers
MT 2 ( preferred style, -about 80 % had this taper)
            B & S #7 (tooling is $$$ and hard to find)
            B -2 or B-3 ( Rare )
The vise looks to be a bridgeport vice but not totally sure
