  • Sprag Clutch Question

I am attempting to find a sprag clutch that will fit a Mopar 440 Car Starter without too much work. It is to be used on my drag bike engine. The old one gave up the ghost finally and when i had it (the starter) rebuilt i ended up with a piece of Junk from our slightly crooked (or just stupid) Local Starter Repair depot. Now i am building a new one and need to find a decent sprag clutch i can mount onto a modified car starter snout. Thankyou Mike

    Madman,

    Contact this business: http://www.whatcomelectric.com/

I used to work for them many years back. They are good people.

For specialty things you might ask for the owner Mr. Dan Bell

    Hope that helps

    Cheers
    Mac.

Why not use a starter clutch off a bike? Loads of modern bikes have them.
