My faith in humanity has been shaken to the core.

What's next, steroids in the pig races at the fair?

I thought i was reading the onion - a rock bass competition? must have a different meaning....around here they are an nuisance fish, less than 1/2 a foot, swarming around cottage docks and will hit a safety pin on white string.

There's a lot more A holes and cheats in a crowd than you think.

I love fishing, but I've never understood how fishing can be a spectator sport. Maybe one of the Bass Pros needs to have affairs with a bunch of strippers and porn stars, and it'll add some glamor to the "sport".

I don't like it when someone with my surname does something that they shouldn't.

Makes me feel the whole clan's been tarnished by the same brush.

Life gets worse over here too. Muggings and road rage on the increase this hot summer, if my personal experience is anything to go by.

You're in a pretty hole if you cheat after joining a group of like minds to compete for something.

On the other side of the coin, I remember reading about the tricks of the trade in the greyhound racing comminity in the old days. A laugh a minute !

Oh I'm afraid it's worse than that, they have steroids in humans now! In all major sports!

and toward the end of the show, each team fires their catch from air cannons at the other trying to knock the other team out of the boat.

later we could add this low life father son team doing the outfitting, but they're always fighting...

I like fishing too....a lot BS around here to go fishing. Need a license. The @($#@ didn't have enough bureaucracy so you now you need a provincial outdoorsman card before you get a license, the endless BS of an un-free country.

A true sportman is unfazed by money.

Money helps you separate the ethical ones from the crooks.

Ain't it the truth. I also like to occasionaly grab a pole and sit on a dock or on some rock along a creek. But if I don't have that $ license, even if only a couple times a year, a big fine is leveled (if I get caught)....no exceptions. There can be no justice without exceptions. Wisconsin has its ridiculous laws too.
