  • Just got +200' of 2" iron pipe for FREE...what can one build with it?

Being at the right place at the right time, I was given a whole lot of NEW black iron 2" pipe.

    Life is good. ;<)

Now I am looking for suggestions as to what to build with this windfall.

    Got any suggestions?

    Thanks

Build a new shop, outta welded 2" cast iron pipe. Not sure what to use to fill in the walls, but whatever.

Hmm....might have. I get really lucky sometimes....brass, steel, aluminum...I don't discriiminate when it is new and FREE.

I think I need to build another rack for stock..anyone have a good plan for one out of pipe?

While on the subject of pipe, does anyone have a suggestion for a pipe notcher that works well?

The days of nibbling away with the bandsaw are in the past considering how much pipe I have...and more is coming.

I need a platform built to access the "tower" on a vertical molding press that will be arriving in the next couple of weeks.

In all seriousness if I sketch a design and figure out what I need would you be.... willing to... ahem... "work something out" possibly an exchange of some sort?
