Has anyone have any experience with the Micro Mart; MicroLux Band Saw ?

I have, and have used what is listed in the Micro-Mark catalog as the Variable Speed Band Saw to do small small delicate work in brass and aluminum. I find it to be a fantastic tool and enables me to have the convenience of a bandsaw when working on pieces too small for my 14 inch metal cutting band saw. I have also cut glass with the diamond blade and cooling system.

It doesn’t get a heavy workout in my shop, but it certainly serves its purpose very well.

      Thanks Mike.

What is the biggest thing you have cut on it?

I've cut brass and aluminum up to about 1/4" to 3/8" thick. I bought a full range of blades when I bought the saw. I am very careful with it, and take care not to "push it" too hard (as I am probably guilty of on my full size band saw). Although band saws are great roughing tools, this small saw allows me to get very close to where I want to be on small parts.
