Probably just as god as the Mitutoyo one which sells for over $150. I am amzedby the very reasonable quality of cheap Chinese measuring gear. I have a combination of used Starret and B&S stuff. I also purchased a 0-4" set of Chinky micrometers, a 1" travel dial guage and the Chinky knock off of the Bestest and they are exceptional value for money.
I'm sorry to say..............

goto,http://www.cme-tools.com/,goto precision tools section, I bought a 6inch for $29.00 plus shipping. works great. also bought there 4 inch swivel vise for $59.00. these are installed on a "horible fright" mill drill, which mills just fine. Les H.Les H.

I bought a 6" version of one of these, also from Hilbordtool - as the others say, it works fine. Finish is a bit iffy, the graduations are painted onto the steel strip (so don't use solvents to clean it...), and the plastic housing's not exactly top class - but for the price, it's fine.
IanAll of the gear, no idea...

Does anyone have a photo of one of these mounted on a Bridgeport-type mill? I've been thinking of getting one, and a few quick glances don't reveal a nice, easy and quick way of mounting it, where it's not in the way of a depth stop, quill lock or the head-tilt bolts.
Doc.Doc's Machine. (Probably not what you expect.)

This is on a round ram J-head, so it might be a bit different for the dovetail ram.
