If You tilt the monitor to the left really far and squint it looks like a four jaw

Oh no. I just realized I only have 4 fingers on each hand. Well, that explains a lot.

            Well obviously....

the fifth jaw is not self centering! Hullo!
I spent most of my money on women and booze, the rest I just wasted.

Big Brother says there are four jaws.... There are four jaws...Not three nor five, but four... Those who say there are any number other then four are to remain where they are until a re-education squad arrives to take them to the ministry of love.
              Precision takes time.

It is bad luck to say five.

"First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin, then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it."

Nobody googles for a 5-jaw chuck. Well, I did find a few posts from people who looked for 5-jaw chucks and couldn't find them.

                      Kinda like a baker's dozen.

It wouldn't be good for hex or square stock, or large stock (jaws not stepped or reversable) but for tubing it might be good. Big center bore.

                      Another 5 jaw:
                      http://yuanpaichuck.en.made-in-china...oll-Chuck.html
                      Also with a large bore:
"It's designed for the pipe machining or pipe welding operations. It's used for lathes, rotary tables and welding devices.

This model is especially produced for the Japanese customers. It finds that it's really a hit for the customers in the Middle East. Since the oil industry is very popular there, this model is very useful. So the model is manufacturer by mass in the factory."

If the order is large, the discount is also large.

Mention of a 15" and 10' 5-jaw on used machines:
