  • Semi OT: Soy based wiring.

    Hi. Found this today: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/39668336...-rochester_ny/

Soy based wiring used in cars attracting rabbits and mice to.. eat it :P
leave it to car manufacturers to find a way to make wire prematurely fail, while escaping liability of the damage, AND saying they are 'green'/ecofriendly at the same time!

Now you gotta bring a magnet to check the wire you buy, chop it in half and chew on it! :P

I wonder how long till they just make cars fully biodegradable. Untill they got better at galvanizing panels I thought some cars where biodegradable given all the rust they have..

Mercedes had a problem a few years ago ..when wiring designed to degrade in landfill would degrade on cars less than five years old..often writing the cars off.
