  • Introduction & looking for a little advice

Hello, I'm new here although I have been reading the forum for awhile. I have an older Jet lathe BD-1325R that I am thinking about putting a DRO on.
I'm looking at the CDCO set-up but am not sure about the size I should buy.
From what I've read the scales won't cover all the travel but the ones they list seem a little long. Anyone have any experience with these CDCO DRO's?
Help me move into the 21st Century. Thanks, Bill

Too long is better than too short. As long as you have the space to mount the scale go for it. The scale on my lathe is way too long for the carriage travel. But who cares?
