  • ID this scraper

    I just picked this scraper up for $38 at an auction. I have not had a chance to pull it apart, ( I will once I get home from work).
    Has anyone ever seen this kind before? If need be, I'll get some more pictures posted later.

    Here are some more pics. I took the front assembly off of the motor unit.


    Here is a shot with the guard removed. The scraper blade fit into the slot in the guard:


    Here is the blade drive unit. The big bearing is mounted at a slight angle, so it wobbles with a forward backward motion. The blade holder must ride against the forward edge of the bearing. There are witness marks on the edge of the bearing, but I can't tell if the holder had a thin bearing that rode against this, or perhaps oilite?
