Wow... I wish I could ride like that. No way I could do that his bike is probably half the weight of mine

I watched a program about the tour deFrance yesterday. Those guys were falling over and slipping out riding straight and level. Granted, the pavement was moist. The guy in this video made those guys look like... uhhhh, I can't think of a term that would not offend someone with, um,... developmental disabilities.

There are no bike classes. Ride anything from 50cc on up.

Having built and ridden recumbent bicycles, I won't ride an upright any more; too uncomfortabe and too unstable! A full on race bicycle is incredibly twitchy and a real challenge to ride. Rucumbents were banned from competition by the UCI in 1933 as too much of an advantage.

THanks for the insight, Paul. I remember riding my garden-variety bike on wet pavement, and even on ice. Seemed more stable then the tour bikes appeared.

                    Impressive!

Here's one even better when you consider the bike is at least 300lbs heavier, full dresser and the guy is riding between rows of cones and doesn't knock them down.

I believe it's an Aprilia Super Motad, no idea what year or model though.
