    R8

    Definitely R8 taper.
Made Draw-bar from 7/16x20 B7 all thread with tallnut tig welded to the top.
I haven't milled anything yet (waiting on end mills and other tooling) but used collets to hold drill bits and drilled a bunch of holes, works great!
Thanks everyone for all your help.

Really hope you have an R8 taper. Heres how to tell them apart:

R8 steep taper is about 1" long, then a longgg straight section thats about 1 1/4" (iirc. Might be a little off). Im not sure what the nose is of an R8 tool (tip of spindle) but I would suspect at least 1 1/2"

MT3 taper is a shallow taper thats about 4" long. The nose end of MT3 (Tip of spindle) is only about 20mm (0.8") in size.

How do you like your mill? Any problems I should watch for?

Like mine just fine... only a few issue. Lost a Start Cap (no biggy) and had a leaky seal on the range selector. Called about part they wanted 30 bucks. Bought a set of seals on ebay from a seller in Israel for a few bucks shipped. And a bad screw in a gear cluster... easy fixes all of them. Had fun snugging cutter in collect but worked up a wrench to hold the spline shaft while snugging up draw bar. It's a good machine and have seen some outstanding work on these type mills. Look at gbritnell work.

I have no collets yet. R8 collets are available locally. As is 7/16x20 all thread.
Is that all I need to get started? + tooling of course.

Threaded rod, Nut, washer, Loktite (or weld or mangle some threads, or whatever way you perfer to attach nuts onto threaded rod to make a bolt head), Drawbar done.

Collets? Just buy a new set of whatever fits into your spindle type.

A draw bar can be made simple enough, Most of the cheaper mills are just a piece of round bar threaded on one end for the collet and have a nut pinned onto the other. easy peasy.

    Mill

First you need to determine if it has a #3 Morse taper or R8 taper. If you look up in the spindle, a Morse taper is a long straight taper. An R8 is a short taper, then a straight hole.

If you can't get parts from there, try cross referencing your mill to similar Grizzly model. They are good with parts orders.
Found the Gaint site and PDF manual but no parts.
Any help on cross referencing to a Grizzly Mod.?

    ZAY 7032G Mill help?

I recently purchased a ZAY 7032G Mill at a Going out of business auction.
It's brand new but did not have the "Accessories pack". I need a spindle draw-bar for it and collets.
