Standard-Modern vs. Emco???

Looking at a new lathe.

The Standard-Modern 1334 and Emco Super 11 are both similarly priced at $7,500.

Is either machine a better buy over the other?

I know the Standard-Modern is slightly larger, which is nice, but I would consider the Emco if it had a clear advantage.

Also if there is a good reason to consider a different machine, I'm game.

I have a standard modern....It is older..but i am 6'4" tall, and the standard modern is a big lathe, so it doesn't hurt my back when I run it...Now the mori seiki is small for japenese people...My back hurts after running a Mori....

I need to check to see what model # my standard modern is.....but it is a great machine...

Since these are both new I would expect the dealer to install them and insure they are working properly (they do that here at least).
