    Peter it is actually clearer than normal in southern BC right now but that annoyed light pollution device called the moon here is drowning out much of the sky tonight.

        I already have a picture of it. It's poorly placed at this time of year as it is low on the northern horizon which puts it in the light pollution from town. It is very easy to detect as it is rather bright even a week ago.

        I will be posting some more images soon. I have been rather busy with other matters lately including a very enjoyable visit by my son with his wife and our two grandchildren.
