  • Machinery Repairman Manual

I have a copy of the Student's Guide - Class A School Machinery Repairman manual from the Naval Training Center. This seems to be a basic introduction by the armed services, however I like the tone of the explanations in it. Are there advanced versions of this manual on the web? I've searched without a great deal of luck but suspect the HSMWMBBS collective brain has greater specific knowledge for this than Google. Thanks.

    Hello,

Was Machinery Repairman while in the Navy. Do not recall another book. I did not attend class A school so there could be more manuals. I still have the same book and it is a good one to own.

No idea if this has anything like you are looking for, but there alre lots of military and other manuals available here for free:

Mostly just an FYI for future reference.

Well, looking around I at least found a newer copy on the net. Quite a few pictures are deleted due to copyright. I like the gear section.

I went to the Navy's MR school in 1973 and have never found another book that equals the MR 3 & 2. Here is a link to the 1990 version which I also posted in the gear cutting thread. http://www.archive.org/stream/machin...95mbp_djvu.txt
