Threading tool Question

    Exactly Evan, positive rake (bottom example).

    Internal threading tool, tip is 90 Deg to shank of tool. Carbide tip brazed onto a steel shank (maybe I didn't explain that very well) with about a 5 Deg. positive rake, pre-ground to 60 Deg and not a cheap offshore tool, see picture above.

    Sorry if there was some confusion.
    The shortest distance between two points is a circle of infinite diameter.
