                  Welcome, Bandmiller!

I also have a sawmill, albeit not homebuilt, just highly modified from original.

Are you a member of the Forestry Forum? They're at http://www.forestryforum.com/ and are a bunch of friendly folks, on a par with this group. The owner of the FF has had a pig roast at his place in August. He's near Harrison, MI

                  Again, welcome to our group!

I had a Timber Champ Dimension 3 bladed mill which was the little brother to the Mobile Dimension. The 1st week I cut 18,500 BF & wrote the company the only letter I;ve written about a product because I was so impressed with it. The old man passed on that made my mill & Mobile Dimension took over production. About 10 yrs after I bought mine I ordered an info pack from Mobile Dimension & was shocked to see my letter on the back of the brochure. The old man man was 83 when he got back into making mills because he didn't like the way his son in law(I believe) was running Mobile Dimension. I drove to Oregon & brought it back to Michigan. One of my best road trips. you can't beat the smell & sight when you open up the log with that first cut. I really miss it. Welcome to the forum.
