  • Now I'm all caught up!(sure:roll eyes:)

Things slowed down for Christmas work wise,I had a little time to work on a few home projects and do some much need repair and rebuild to the forklifts/crane etc at work.

I woke up this a.m. and said gee I'll go in,clean up this job, that job,cut material for a third and by tommorow I'll be caught up-righhhhht

I took in two months of solid machining in two hours! So if you supply the process industry, get ready to ride the wave.
I just need one more tool, just one!

Your not the only one who is way behind. I'm afraid that some of my work is going to catch up and pass me on the next lap.

          Thrud,
I thought you were Demented, or was that Fermented ?

Weird, Customers are a pain in the ass, all they want to do is interupt when you are trying to play. It's Thursday again today and I try to have Thursday afternoon to do what I want. Does it work - no way - I've had to bloody work the last three weeks and I've got reams of paper all over the thunderbox floor with sketches, drawings, notes etc that I want to try out.

I'm trying to work out if my simple hobbing setup will work, on paper it looks good but the proof etc etc.
If that don't work ot the the MKII and MKIII are all sketched up.
          Damn customers.

It was getting harder to get anything done because I'm way to easy on the walkin customers, every five minutes somebody comes in with a tear jerking story of how they need it today, well I started telling them if they want it today $200.00 minimum! If they are truely willing to pay,I cut them some slack.

Its amazing how many of them suddenly can wait till next week

Er, my eyesight is never, ever THAT bad Alistair. But I heard John say that he was needing a woman of wide "credentials" to block the door of his shop every thursday so he can get out of the thunderbox and cut more gears than cheeze...

...or at least that's what Martin told me!
