Another vote for pdf creator. I use it if I have to use a windows machines. On my Mac its built into the OSX, if you can print it you can save it as a PDF.

I was setting up a process controller via RS485 from a non-networked PC last week. I needed to access the manual and plugged in my memory stick. Ahh, no pdf reader!.

I walked over to the nearest networked PC and tried to download Acrobat (which is the site standard pdf reader) only to discover that you can't! You can only download an installer, which needs access to the net.

      Ended up with Foxit.

If you need Adobe reader as a full download you can get it here from Adobe as a full zip file.

            Evan,
Just had a look 147 meg for adobe and 14 meg for Foxit to do exactly the same job.

No wonder Adobe takes so long to load with all that bloatware on board.

              +1, used PrimoPDF for years.

I use PDF-XChange viewer. Works very well.

I don't have a free PDF editor, but I'm looking.

I will not allow Adobe Acrobat Viewer on any of my PCs. Those are resource hogs and they call the mothership every 30 seconds, for Who-knows-what purpose.
I'm seriously looking at removing Flash Player for the same reasons.
