Another vote for pdf creator. I use it if I have to use a windows machines. On my Mac its built into the OSX, if you can print it you can save it as a PDF.
I was setting up a process controller via RS485 from a non-networked PC last week. I needed to access the manual and plugged in my memory stick. Ahh, no pdf reader!.
I walked over to the nearest networked PC and tried to download Acrobat (which is the site standard pdf reader) only to discover that you can't! You can only download an installer, which needs access to the net.
I will not allow Adobe Acrobat Viewer on any of my PCs. Those are resource hogs and they call the mothership every 30 seconds, for Who-knows-what purpose.
I'm seriously looking at removing Flash Player for the same reasons.
