19/32-32 Tap. Help

need help finding a 19/32-32 tap, Victor, MSC etc aint got em..

Try Travers Tool. It will be a special and will need to be custom made, so you're talking about an expensive tap.

Are you sure its not a M15 x .8 It comes out really close? What is the application. There are a lot of specials out there that are not standard

It's a thread size that Winchester used circa 1873-1875, pretty sure it's not metric

Right now single point cutting it...rather tap it

Try a sewing machine supply house, they were known to use some very unusual thread sizes. First one comes to mind is M J Foley, but they might have gone out of business. They also used a lot of flat head and cheesehead type of screws similar to the weapons industry. May have been some connection between the two industries. Bob.

I had some special 8-36 taps and dies made by Western Tap, and the price was quite reasonable. They were very accommodating and approachable, so everything was handled with my initial phone call. One-offs cost the most, but their specialty is small quantities - up to a dozen, I think.

I can find 9/16-32 which is 1/32 under...
I can find 5/8-32 which is 1/32 over...

That was from Travers Tool...
I also checked Wholesale Tool and KBC - no luck.
