Interesting. On mine the bolt just bears on the support, but doesn't thread into it. Maybe it was a running change. Gives me an idea for a mod to mine, though.

Firefox has an add-on that will allow you to see those PB images. Info in this thread:

If I right click on what used to be an image and 'open in new tab' it opens up a photobucket window - then right click on that and it opens up the original image.

So you see the images in this thread? I have the Firefox Add-on and only see the "please update your account" speedometer image.

Curiously enough, all of my pictures are still appearing in old threads, and I have still not gotten an email from Photobucket (that I noticed anyway). Go figure.

Yep, I see them fine. Don't have to do anything. But one thing I wondered about: apparently the first time I downloaded the fix it somehow didn't install in Firefox.

If it's installed, you should be able select tools > add-ons and see "photobucket embed fix" in the list. I've enabled/disabled it a number of if times testing and it works as expected.

Here is my 3-1 after some modifications so that it was easier for me to use. The roller is a tool of it's own, just turn the wheel. The shear and brake are one in the same with a foot stomp operation. This gives me control of the material and the force to shear with control. The claim of 18ga. is still out of reach for the shear but it does cut 22,24,ga. steel full width. I do not have the brake plates installed until I need to use it. The blade clearance to get it to shear has to be about 0 for it to cut. the brake works well on the couple of pieces so far upto 18ga.

That doesn't work for me. In Windows IE-11, the "open in new tab" is greyed out and can't be selected.

Resurrecting an old thread but I'm genuinely interested in more details on the mods you made.

I use one of these daily for small production runs. Would be really useful to make these changes.

I cut up to 14 gauge (1.5mm) on it but can form small pieces of 12 gauge (3mm) as it is. Wondering if changes like this would impede this?

In particular, knowing more information on the springs (source, length, gauge?) and how you change from shear to bender without the cam?

Only other issue I have with these is repeat cutting of shamfered angle on sheet, coming up with a suitable jig for each one I have (several designs). I've realised my reliance on magnets, even strong ones, is prone to shifting after several cuts.

I made one of the OP's 3-in-1 stands. Like him, I used a piece of I-beam (actually W beam). But I left my beam intact for stiffness. Installed and adjusted, the shear cuts very nicely now compared to before. I haven't painted mine yet, will do that when the weather improves. I added a couple pictures below. But I used a stock 3 in 1 bender, and got it to work quite well with a few adjustments. They are not bad, just unfinished.
