  • Die Pin thingamajigs - whats the correct name?

These are for grabbing onto pins used in tool and die work. The allen key is permanant on the end and its rotation slides an internal piece that (I suppose) is in a taper so it locks onto the pin you're trying to grip.

So I know what they are used for .....but not what they're actually called. There's no brand or make...anyone know what their proper name is?

    thanks

    Tool

They look like dowel pin pullers to me. Sometimes things have different names in different areas.

      Pin pullers.

That's what we call them at work.

          Anyone know who makes them?
I might have a use for something like that one day. Not that I'll ever remember the company's name.
