  • N.a.m.e.s. 2012

Got back from the show last night and after taking some of the stuff out of the car sat right down and started dealing with show photos.

I have the slide show up and running @

    http://neme-s.org/NAMES_2012/NAMES_2012.html

Making the page will take more time since I took about 460 photos and each one has to be handled for the page.

    Video will trail along eventualy!

I had a GREAT time at the show and we missed the most severe weather coming across PA on the way home so that was much appreciated.

    More to follow.

Nice pictures Errol , BUT I could do without those "exotic" wipes.
They distract way too much from the time to see the picture.
Especially the checker board and the "unfolding" ones.
That must be quite the show, someday I'd like to make it.

Thank you for the pictures, Errol. As always, you put on an outstanding slide show. For those of us who live vast distances away, it's almost better than making the trip to see it first hand.

        Best regards,
        Orrin
So many projects. So little time.

The show pages are up at:

          http://neme-s.org/NAMES_2012/north_a...ngineering.htm

I will now turn my efforts to the video and will update when it is available!

Lew, I appreciate your comment and have wasted over an hour trying to figure out how to get the slide show program to do a simple fade to black transition with no success. I will have to contact the software company to find out what I am doing, or not doing wrong.

            nice pictures ...

plenty to see there ..no rough looking stuff... all excellent.

1000s of hours work on each and every one of them .

to stop the slide show, put on pause...then just click through them.

sorry i did that when i thought it was going to go on forever .

about 30 pics is my limit when watching a slide show ...still its a hundred times better than clicking on thumbs.

            all the best.markj

Lew: After much tinkering I finally figured out how to do a simple transition from picture to picture. Please try it and see if it is more to your liking. Still a ton of pictures in the slide program but I can't help that

Video is on Youtube now in 2 parts.

Very happy to have this project done as there is a local show coming up on Sunday and I didn't want to have the work overlap!

Thanks for all the effort you put into sharing all those great photos with us. I have to like the one and only one that I might be capable of building----------- the little John Deere tractor.

Does anyone have any more info on this little planner, like was it posted on a forum as a build, name of the guy who made, anything?

I think he has done a brilliant job just like all the rest, but I really liked this and would like to find out a bit more about it.

It has been at the show for a couple of years, this year they were a later arrival. It is pretty cool in person, I looked and don't have a clearer photo of the name card in the photo's from years past.
When I went by that table on Saturday morning, it wasn't there.

Hey Errol, The "Fades" are SO much easier on the eyes. :-) "Wipes"
aren't too bad if they are simple horizontal line ones but those on
