            Isn't "custom" spelled with a "K"?

Yeah boy!! Be the first kid on your block to own his very own kustom, full race, competetion ready, limited slip, hard anodized, hi-traction, dyno tested, aircraft quality, billet, golf cart wheels blister packed for your convenience. Way kool!!

Wish I had a need for some of the bargains that come my way. In 2003 I was offered a 68 Rolls-Royce minus the engine and transmission for $800. It had bullet holes in it and no papers. An old friend tried to give me a 17 year old horse his daughter had out-grown. I was once offered a share of a gold claim in Alaska that I understand did quite well. My owning even a pittance would have been the kiss of death for the whole enterprise. Another old fellow phoned to ask me if I wanted a machine table. I hedged, "Maybe, what's it like" "I'll bring it." An hour later he came by with his brothers heavy hauler with an 8ft x 32 ft planer table on it. It was an over-license load for his rig and he wanted to dispose of it before the law woke up and ticketed him or without having to re-license. I have a life full of roads I'm happy to have not traveled.

Anyway, good score on the aluminum. Wish I had a foot of it to make some step pulleys for the turret mill.

But did you get the spec sheets with it ? or it's no good

As an aside I needed a short piece of 1 1/2" alloy bar for a job the other day, looked all over the rack and found one full bar of 1 1/4" and a short bar of the same so though I'd mis ordered a while ago.

Went up the road to the aerospace company to scrounge a bit, only needed a 6" piece. They had an 8"piece on the shelf they gave me but it had 7 [ no joke ] sheets of paper attached to it for spec, use, do not swallow, etc No wonder aerospace stuff costs so much given they have to keep track of all this paperwork.

Thursday was looking for a bit of 2" steel on the rack and guess what, found a full bar of 1 1/2" alloy, faith in my memory has been restored which is more than I can say for my stock holding

You only get spec sheets if it's aircraft billet

                          Nice score!
