Little tool gloat, and question

Hi all, today I went to look at a 36 ton Parana ironworker for a friend, and while I was at the guys shop dug up a 10" phase 2 rotary table with the dividing plates, it came home with me...question in what position do you fill it with oil and do you fill it to the center of the sight glass, im thinking horizontal....??

No oil. Just grease it. Oil will just run out.

Yea its a hefty buger......so your saying to pump grease in the oil fill hole??

Manual says to use oil everywhere.

Be aware that when you tilt it up to the vertical position that oil will run out ... this is normal.

I just put more oil in mine when I store it away in the horizontal position.

Not really rare for the gear train to run in an oil bath.

They are not too fussy. How many times will the table rotate in a year? 100?

How many times does the ring gear go around in the differential of your car in a minute?
