Was at KMS Tools today buying a bandsaw blade, they had one .020 thick, bi-metal. Right on, no waiting! Anyway, I looked at drill presses, and once more the cheap delta had the least slop in the spindle. Anyone looking for a cheap dp might find the delta to be the better of the cheapies. That's been my experience with friends purchases of the cheap ones, anyway. I don't have one myself, but that's the one I would buy, especially if my intention was to convert it for an accessory to a lathe or mill. And no, I have no association with the company, etc. Just passing on an observation. I wouldn't want a dp myself where the slop had to be controlled by the guide pin.
