Not sure if you can still get it anywhere, but DOS 7.1 was floating around, someone had stripped it off of Win98, has many options over 6.1.
      I have it as a boot/install CD.
Looks like it might be here? http://www.syschat.com/download60.html
      Max.

If you do not find something you can download, let me know. I am sure I have some old DOS discs around. I probably even have some 5 1/4" ones.

Be aware of the difference of a boot disk and the full dos operating system. A boot disk only needs about 2 files to be bootable but you will not have all the dos utilities and features available that are part of the full operating system.

The DOS 7.1 can be either bootable disk or full .iso install, it offers long file names and lots of extra features and utilities over and above 6.1.
Even a customizable boot in screen or logo.
