  • Dull end mills

Ive got a nice collection of dull end mills
which are for the most part only good for side cutting that I refuse to throw away.
If I could re-sharpen them at least once I could die a happy Home Shop Machinist.
    My question is how ?
Is it worth it to send them out ? If so how much per cutter. Can I make a grinder and do it my self.

    Thanx
    Tom

Look in the Third Hand section. I brought back a recent discussion on this subject.

Just sent you an e-mail and some pics of the one I came up with.Made it from bits in the odds and ends pile. It's not fancy or polished, but it does work.Easy to make in less than a week end.
