      Dang. I can't listen to that for more than a few seconds or I will start talking that way. If I do I won't need to worry about what's going to kill me. It will be my wife...

        I see what you mean.

        I lived in Texas for five years (1996-2001), and that's not a Texas accent. Do they talk that way in Tennessee?

            I generally find the trendy verbal expressions tiresome.
            But that shadow line bit evokes a great big "... well Duhhh!"

              My problem is that I automatically pick up the local accent wherever I am. It only takes a minute or less listening to someone and I do it without realizing it. I have had people in some small town just about anywhere ask me "Are you from around here?" because I sound local but they don't know me. I'll have a look at the video now as my wife is at work and I am going to town later. That will give me a chance to lose the accent before she comes home. I wasn't kidding, much...
