          No Safety valve obviously
          Steam expands 1700 to 1.
Gunpowder is like 300 to 1

That's what happens when you overheat the vessel,it ruptures BEFORE the relief valve pops off.

Just hope he doesn't take out anyone else, except of course ones just like him.

                    Holy fudge!
They would be lucky if poopy pants were the only casualty from that explosion! Yikes!
                    Cheers,

could have been no safety release valve, old boiler with zinc depleted brass bushings clueless made up design that wasn't strong enough or even the use of soft solder. The great majority of people haven't a clue why a boiler is so dangerous....even on technical forums, most things its comparable to say compressed air (not). Hopefully no one's kid gets wiped out
in Toronto Ontario - where are you?

This clip is getting long in the tooth and keeps being repeated to show members of the damp gene pool. If you listen to them, the safety (or relief) valve has been tightened, reffered to as the "Valve of death", so they were quite aware that they had pratted about with the weak link.

Dumb and dumber then publish on "Tube"??????

                          Regards Ian.
You might not like what I say,but that doesn't mean I'm wrong.

They have the torch pointing directly on the joint of the steam tube at the bottom of the boiler, the solder whether soft, hard etc let go.

Been there, probably broke it, doing that!

the piston is fully extended ..and the engine will not self start without a push on the flywheel.

the tank is soldered ..he melted the solder with his blow torch .

                              all the best.markj
