  • Grizzly G4003g Gear Help Needed

Do you own a Grizzly G4003g? If so, I your help.

I have an older (1985) Morgon 12x36 belt drive lathe that has a couple of holes in its threading range that I would like to fill. To do this I need 35 and 60 tooth gears and I think the gears from the 4003g will work, but I would like to be sure before placing the order.

My lathe uses Module 1.25 gears with an 18mm bore and a 5mm keyway. The gears are 10mm thick with a 10mm boss. The OD should be 46.25 for the 35 tooth gear and 77.5mm for the 60 tooth gear.

If you could do a quick measurement and confirm that the 4003g gears will (or won't) work, I would appreciate it.

      Thanks Ron -

Looks like I'll have to continue my search as these calc out as Module 1.5 and the bore is too large on one.

      Thanks again.
