  • Anyone own a Gizzly G0516 ?

    http://www.grizzly.com/products/Comb...tachment/G0516
    Part # 540.

If you do, any chance you could post the dimensions of the 'T' slotted table which comes with it ?
Thickness, length, width and 'T' depth & width would be great.

Sent an email to grizzly, but thought i would ask here also.

    Thanks...

Somewhere around here I have a photo of that table after I've blued it on my granite surface. Maybe 5 spots scattered around the top and bottom . It is on my list of things to scrape. Might be worth making one from scratch, but the Grizzly price is pretty cheap. I bought a second cross slide that is already machined and think I paid maybe $40.00 for it. I finally bought a stand-alone base from Little Machine Shop and moved the mill to its own spot on the bench. Much more convenient and you get a bigger table. If ever needed it is still possible to put the mill back on the lathe bed.

I want to mount it on the back side of the cross-slide of a lathe which i bought (lathe has not shipped yet).
As for the twist or it being warp, for now, im more concerned with the bottom side. I do not want to twist the lathes cross-slide and create a bind because the T table not flat. Only time will tell, need to measure the lathe and see what will fit on it best. Like you said, $40 is pretty cheap if the size will fit.
