  • Boice Crane Scroll saw

My Dad and I recently aquired by means of our mgnatism for junk an old Boice Crane go up and down saw.It runs but i cant find any blades for it. It looks like they need to have holes on both ends and about 5" long.
The saw was bought at a US Navy auction.
anyone know anything about these saws.
    thanks

Boice Crane, with the possible exception of their 12 inch wood planer and a gear head drill press (which I don't think they actually manuafuctured but imported), was a sort of El Cheapo USA manuf who's heyday was in the 1950's to 1970's. Servicable machines, but not made all that great...sort of similar quality to Walker Turner machines, only Boice Crane leaned toward fabricated construction and WT leaned toward cast construction.

Re needing scroll saw blades with holes, just buy the kind with pins on each end and knock the pins out.
