        It's a fraud!

The balls are made of ordinary plastic, not toothpicks!

He' got the sense of purpose and dedication to a frigal sensible life of the typical home machinist. But in spite of that he's made something an ordinary human can appreciate.

Even though it's my City, I hadn't seen it - thanks for posting.

Must've been something to store, work on and move, I'll bet.
              Cheers,

That is fantastic. I love it and wish I lived close enough to go and see it. My mother and brother live in San Jose and I will alert them.

They say it is on display until June 19th but do not say which year. Anyone know?

I watched the video all the way through, waiting for him to stick his hand through it.
Does he intend to produce this in kit form? One of the kit magazines might take it up, a box of toothpicks and a tube of glue every week for three years.
Nice job though, the more you look at it, the more there is to see.

I do find it rather amazing. I wish I could see it for real.

Looks quite involved and kind of cool, but I have to say it reminded me of the weekly powerball drawings.....and I still lost.
