Keep a close watch on the prices when you check out.

Item I was ordering had a $4.64 price on the e catalog page when I went to check out it came up at $9.50. This is not the first time this has happened to me. Spent 15 minutes on the phone, on hold, any they did end up selling it at the lower price.

I was only buying a couple of things so the problem was very apparent. If you were purchasing a lot of stuff it might not be as apparent.

I have noticed that enco seems to have raised prices on a lot of stuff in the past few months. Hertel drill sets, starrett micrometers, it seems that many things are now 15% above what the catalog shows.

I guess they have to pay for all these 15-20% off sales somehow. With regular prices heading up, they are not as good a deal.

If this trend continues, they will start charging the same prices as msc direct (which owns enco, btw).

I put in an order last night, and they've raised the price of virtually everything by 15%.

MSC is infamous for doing this, I guess it was just a matter of time before it trickled down to Enco.
