I know that we are fortunate enough to have some extremely gifted members here who routinely demonstrate their unique ability to designed and build some very challenging projects. As we all know, it is one thing to conceive an idea, but to actually transform it into a working specimen is an entirely different proposition.
I take my hat off to those who can combine several diverse disciplines and transform those thoughts into a tangible working example.
Recently I was fortunate enough to stumble into what can arguably be described as another master craftsman's project from Switzerland. This project though was completed over 240 years ago. To say I'm amazed would be an understatement.
Forgive me if this has been posted before but obviously I've never seen it. In addition to the link from BBC showcasing the project I've also included a Wiki link about the artist and some of his other accomplishments.
