I think your boss could have been a bit more generous with his time, but if it meant you could do the swap easier all good.

He didn't ask for anything that is just what I gave him, it was money well spent. He is not the company owner, just a department manager. I would have had to pay someone regardless since the lathe got loaded onto a flatbed truck with the deck a good 4-5 feet high. Since the mill was brought to me I figured I would take care of the rigging arrangements.

Excello mills are fine machines,had one myself.Any deal where both parties are happy is a good deal IMHO,the dollar amount isn't important at that point.
