  • First 10 years of Home Shop Machinist for sale

    Hello,
I was loyal subscriber to Home Shop Machinist for 10 years, then my interests changed.
So I am thinking to sell these issues.
They are Vol. 1 through Vol. 10, complete with 2 special issues; a total of 63 issues all in excellent condition.
Anyone interested, any idea what they are worth to a collector?
    David

We do not allow for sale posts on the bulletin board. I'm going to let this one stay for a day or two though.

        Hey George,
I've got some stuff for sale that probably only needs to stay posted for a few days too.
I'll start getting the photos ready to up load.

                    Hello to all,
Sorry, I did not know the rules, I should have looked at those rules.
I did not mean to cause such a problem.
Looks like its the dump for 62 issues of HSM.

I don't think You caused a problem, the Admin. is allowing the post to stay. You have an interested party that wants to buy, and a bunch of us got a laugh.
Oh, and welcome to the madness.

Yep, you made the same mistake that everyone makes, which is why I figured I would leave things up for a while. At least until the magazines found a good home. This doesn't even register on my problem scale, so don't worry about that. I'm sure one of our members would be happy to have them, but if you want to bin them, that's your choice. Cheers.

Besides, if there was ever a fit for sale post that was it, I mean HSM issues. Even though there is not a for sale section here, It does seem appropriate for these to be here. George was good enough to leave it long enough for someone to get them. It seems to me that to trash them would have been a shame. Just goes to prove what a good forum and great people there are here.

Selling old machining mags and books, Blasphemy.

Nail the heretic to a cross and burn him, just be careful to get the books first.
