He has been splattering this even more on multiple Yahoo metalworking groups for some time.

Perhaps the moniker "Poorman" will become even more appropriate as the members of this board boycott his products...

In addition to advertising, the publications are nothing more than poor reprints of old Popular Mechanics and similar published plans.
              A very sorry operation.

Gentlmen, I have not posted in those forums that say no advertising or the forum for asking questions. Nothing was said about not advertising in the General forum. For your information to date 371 of your forum members have checked out our catalog. I suggest that your members are adults and can make up their own minds as to order or not. Every plan that we offer is fully guaranteed. You are all welcome to view our catalog at any time.

Quote from first page of registration process: "Please note that advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are inappropriate on this BB.

Regardless Poorman you're using a free message board for commercial gain. This is equivalent to posting advertizements on private property without the owner's persission.

If you want to get your product before the public's eye, purchase advertizing. You got 372 hits on your website? I think you owe HSM $372 for the services you took without permission.

Be a man. Pay your own way.

As for your product: I've leafed through a copy. Most of the projects are pathetically weak and limited. It;s obvious they are designed for easy manufacture by someone working with few available tools. The project machines once built are suited only for the satisfaction of working in the shop. They will make chips but few have actual productive potential.

I suggest Gingery's DIY home shop machinery books, limited as they are, are a better alternative.

And 375 of them have determined that these are as someone else has said a very poor rip off of someone elses work. Not one unique design in the whole lot.

If anyone is interested in this sort of thing then a trip to the local libary will get you exactly what you are offering and more.

Plans to make things are very popular but at least come up with your own and don't try to rip off these plans.
To be honest they aren't even worth ripping off, they are that dated. Far better plans have been produced and many are even available for free on the net.

Advertising is not allowed on this board and it's clearly stated so do us all a favour and go and procreate with the large marked red button usually situated just below the green ON button.

I want to know how he came up with the 371 members figure?
This guy spams the boards once a month like clockwork.

The host of a website keeps logs of all activity. As in this case, the host tracked what site originated the link to his clients site. This information is then made available to the client in very readable charts and tables.

Every time one visits a site a tremendous amount of information is transferred - and one didn't even know it happened! Cookies not needed either. Scary, huh?

I clicked, got counted, but never looked at any of the stuff. Just wanted to see if he had the decency to change it so it wouldn't work.

This guy has done the same thing at several gunsmithing sites. Same modus operandi. Posts in the general discusion board without the owners permission.
Neil. IMHO he should be billed the going rate for advertising and then invited not to return.
