Looking for Rockford Lathe Parts

My friend has a Rockford Lathe and needs the back gear. I havent sean it personaly i think its a old one. Serial # 55G 785-338 TW/ 14" swing

Is the gear missing or damaged?
If damaged could it be fixed?

My friend is a novis in machining i think he stripped some teeth. He also said he welded the gear to remachine the teeth. Form what i heard when he was telling me about it over the phone he used the wrong welding rod. I think the gear is history. I can make one but it will be a freebe, i dont have the time for it right now so replacing the gear is the way to go

Maybe "Plaza" machinery might have a few parts?
