I...the Grizzy wont cover the work load. And so no purchasing, we can not buy an American built lathe, and we should also NOT buy the Grizzly.

You didn't mention which model you had put in for originally. My advise is that you look (minimum) for a lathe made in Taiwan.

If Grizzly is still your supplier of choice, that means the $12k G0740.
