  • Online bandsaw blade recomendations

I have a Jet 4 x 6 bandsaw, uses 64.5" blades. My local retailer closed down due to HF moving in. Tried the HF blades and they are the worst I have ever used - never again.
    Back at square one.
Anyone have recommendations of an online blade source they have been happy with?

    Thanks,
    Abner

Mcmaster-Carr. I got some blades from them years ago, they were made in England, superb.

I get Bosch and Lenox blades from Amazon. I'm a prime member so shipping is figured into the cost.

My last couple of blades have been Starrett Bi-metal from MSC and have served well.

Call Tom at Blue Ribbon Abrasives, he has them made up special from a company here in the good old USA. He told me he doesn't sell cheap stuff. Sells good stuff for a good price as he is a one man show with low overhead. Rich

Customblades.com has been my source for 15 + years. I have never broken a blade from them and I'm not gentle.

I switched from McMaster to Sawblade.com

                  https://www.sawblade.com/

Have not regretted it,not that there was anything wrong with Mac,they do have excellent service,it's just Sawblade had the same quality blade for about 25% less and they have dedicated saw blade specific tech support.
I just need one more tool, just one!
