FYI, Lately I have been buying hardware from MCMASTER-CARR. They have an excellent online catalog and will sell to individals if you pay with a credit card.
I was really impressed with their 6061 hardened aluminum, great stuff (they don't demand you buy 6 or 8 foot lengths either).
BTW, If anyone for some strange reason needs hexagon broaches let me know.
