Procunier Tapping Head Shank

I have a Procunier 2E tapping head , and would like to change out the #2 MT for a straight shank, or R-8 adapter. Has anyone done it, and how hard is it to do?????

Doesn't look like a minor task,doable,but I would be very careful,parts for those things aren't very cheap.

The shank threads in. I changed mine out with a straight shank that I made. I did this years ago so don't recall the fine details, but it was pretty straightforward.
