    Saw this article and thought it was interesting.Seems the last few years Aluminum prices have been flat while Steel and Copper alloys have spiked-

    This is a pretty big deal in Washington state where Boeing is probably the largest customer. Alcoa is planning major workforce reductions on both sides of the Cascades.

    We have the cheapest electricity anywhere in the US (well, it was until hydro was declared a non-renewable resource so now we're subsidizing Big Wind and Big Solar) and still can't compete.

        Depends on whether Ford left any "military " grade Aluminum available for the competitors...They may have to resort to billet!
